Update on datagrid not updating
Update on datagrid not updating - Sexchat free no credit
How can I solve it, will I have to destroy the Grid and create it again ??? When I first show the Grid the pagination works perfectly but after the update when I try to move to a different page I receive the error: Microsfot JScript runtime error: DOM Exception: NOT_FOUND_ERROR (8) And an error is maked ant all here: c.table.replace Child(i,c.tbody) But I have discovered that the same error occurs when I try to sort a column of the grid. Thanks I am having a lot of problems trying to reinitialise the datagrid when the datasource has changed. Please, you developers from Telerik, this is really urgent. For example, I have a component that creates the dataset on 1 tab, and the Dev X grid on the other. I associated the data returned as datasource of a grid. This grid had sorting and pageing enabled Now when the user clicks next the whole page gets new record so the grid had to be refreshed 1.
When "ds" is a simple json object containing a simple list of objects the Grid is updated correctly, but when "ds" is a data Source with oher config parameters defined, the grid is cleared, as the datasource had no record. When I first show the Grid the pagination works perfectly but after the update above when I try to move to a different page I receive the error: Microsfot JScript runtime error: DOM Exception: NOT_FOUND_ERROR (8) And an error is maked ant all here: c.table.replace Child(i,c.tbody) Hiow can I solve this ? As I told you I can refresh the grid but a problem occured whith the pagination.
Now What I'm trying to do is when user do the changes in the grid those changes should be reflected in the list (in object properties) and then it should be updated in the database.
When my page is loading I don't have any data available.
When you use the Binding Source component to bind your data source to a Windows Forms control, you can notify the control that your data source has changed by calling the Reset Bindings method.
The following code example demonstrates using the Reset Bindings method to notify a bound control about an update in the data source.
In the mod Date create something similar to the following: Public rs Data as ADODB. When you click the refresh button it then does the same process again.
Recordset Public Sub Get_Data() Dim str SQL as String Dim cn as ADODB. If you want you can set up a timer and have it refresh the grid how ever often you wish.It works fine the first time it is used, but I want to be able to change the query and subsequent dataset and completely rejig the grid accordingly. OCCUPATION From TEST Then I go back and change the query to: Select TEST. DESCRIPTION From TEST and reset the datasource, the occupation column is still present on the grid, with no data. I thought this would be simple but it is proving to be difficult. As an example is say I have a query that outputs 2 rows of data: Select TEST. I am setting the grid's datasource in this way: So I finally solved this problem. ~regards suji" id="ctl00_m_m_i_ctl00_gr_ctl05_bestanswerbody" class="textarea-bestanswerhidden" name="bestanswerbody" answerbody Id="470961" /SQL server so I can't give you the specifics of that but here is how I would do it using a Access Database. Data Source = rs Data End If End With End Sub In the main form place the following: Private Sub cmd Refresh_Click() mod Data. Get_Data End Sub What this does is when the form is loaded it will go to the mod Data. After the recordset gets populated it then goes to the mod Data Grid.Create two modules name one of them mod Data and the other mod Grid. Open "DSN=DATA" str SQL = "Select information" rs Data. Open str SQL, cn, ad Open Static, ad Lock Optimistic cn. Load_Grid End sub In the mod Data Grid module place something similar to the following: Public Sub Load_Grid() With frm Data If Not rs Data. Load_Grid and places all the information that you retrieved into the Data grids.I am new to visual Basic and have managed to do what I needed so far the only problem I have is refreshing the datagrids on the form.
