Windows vista error while updating firefox

There is no error code, it is just checking for the updates.Firefox XPCOM error description: Firefox couldn’t open and the following error is displayed on screen: “Couldn’t load XPCOM”.

I just discovered that now my HP Solutions Center is now not working.I have received the error message "Java update did not complete.Error Code: 1603" for months whenever I tried to update the Java installation on a PC running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.The full error prompt read: The help center was not very helpful. It did list one entry for error 1603 but revealed no information other than it is indicating "that an installation did not complete" and that the error is under investigation.please help.i've even tried changing the security settings and nothing. After hours of uninstalling and reinstalling, I decided to try worked like a charm :) 1) Close all browsers 2) Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash 3) Copy "NPSWF32.dll" 4) Go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins 5) Paste "NPSWF32.dll" 6) Restart browsergo to and choose the other versions VISTA/XP option, Firefox will be listed as well, and download that version of Adobe Flash'll have to do it from Explorer though, with Firefox closed. I have been looking for a way to install Adobe Flash player with Fire Fox and nothing would work... I stumbled up on this website and tryed what other people on here said to do but that wasnt working either.. I opened youtube and when I am trying to open a video it shows 'get latest flash player'.

im using mozilla and vista If you have a PC and are using Firefox, Installing Adobe Flash Player goes as follows. Until I Scrolled all the way to the bottom and found your msg you left, And that seems to work fine for me... I clicked on it and from adobe webpage I downloaded the file 'install_flash_player'. But when I tried to run it after some progress is opened a dialogue box written " Error opening file for writing C;\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\flash\NPSWF32Click Abort to stop installation Retry to try again later, or Ignore to skip this file." What should I do now. Did you solve your problem of Adobe Flash player installation because I am also facing similar problem form 1 week trying to get solution if u have any solution please send me..In order to proceed with this method, you will need to use Internet Explorer (which is there by default, or another browser if you have it installed) If you cannot locate/find Internet Explorer, simply Hold the Windows Key on your keyboard and Press R to open run dialog, and in the run dialog type - and click OK.Download and run Reimage Plus to scan and restore corrupt and missing files from here, and then check if you still get the error. This method has worked for most of the users and it is very easy to follow. You can download Reimage Plus by Before you begin, if you would like to Back Up Firefox to save (bookmarks, passwords etc) then you can by using Moz Backup; I wrote another article explaining how to do this, the article is focused on Mozilla Thunderbird, but it is exactly the same for Firefox, you just have to choose Firefox instead of Thunderbird. Download the 30-day trial version of Revo Uninstaller by going to clicking the following button on the site Download Revo Uninstaller 2.Now you should have the revo setup file, open it and install it.The XPCOM error, may caused on a Windows based computer whenever a user tries to open Mozilla Firefox after a Windows Update or if the Firefox’s profile folder is corrupted.
